Welcome to our Charity Program
Children's Shelter Foundation offers together with Joy's Guesthouse Chiang Mai various individual travel programs in the way of "Charity Travel".
Ulrike and Joy founded the Children's Shelter Foundation in 2007. Our aim of "Holidays and Charity" is to show the traditional and authentic Thailand to our guests and, at the same time, support Thai children, families and villages througe our project. Help and experience Thailand beneath the beaten tourist paths.
Our guests have the possibility to visit our Social Project, to do excursions with the children, to create small projects with the children and also to spend some nights in our nice Guesthouse at Children’s Shelter Foundation in the mountains of Chiang Mai.
The proceeds of "Holidays & Charity" program goes directly to the children’s project.
Joy's house Chiang Mai supports Children's Shelter Foundation in all areas. The whole family is involved in the social project.
Holidays at Children’s Shelter Foundation
Guests who book their stay in Joy’s House Chiang Mai, can visit us and the children any time.
We will show you the organic farm and the whole project. Spontaneously you can decide to spend the night with us in our guesthouse at the farm.
(Children's Shelter Foundation will get the profit from this trip)
You can book your stay completely in Children's Shelter Foundation.
5 big and comfortable guest-rooms with warm water shower and air conditioning are available. All profits directly benefit the Foundation.
You can join in adventures with the children, or start your own small projects with the children at the farm. Furthermore you can book all tours we offer from Joy's House at the farm.
Volunteers: Stay at least 3 month.
Contribution: 150 Euro/month
Condition: Contact Joy's House beforehand to make arreangement.

Day Trip with program / Transfer / 2 meals
1.500 baht/Person / children are free with 2 adults
Room in our comfortable farm guesthouse/bathroom/AC without program.
Incl. 3 meals, spending 2 nights up - transfer is free.
2.500 baht/night/room (2 Persons)
Taxi: Chiang Mai - to our farm / our farm to Chiang Mai
1.000 baht /Taxi / 1-way

- Cooking course
- First Thai words, language course with children - free
- Bamboo-Stick-Dance and Yoga
- Bathing in the hot springs of the neighbor village - free
- Introduction to organic farming (children explain our organic farm) - free
- We build a natural dam, water means life
- Jungle trip with small experts - free
- Excursion to the home mountain villages of our children (with overnight stay)
- Excursion to the wonderfully situated bathing lake with small sea huts
We offer also Nature Camp's for International Schools and Universities. Please aks for our program.
Joy's House works free of profit and unselfishly for the Children's Shelter Foundation “Holidays & Charity”
Joy's House undertakes to give all financial profits from “Holidays & Charity” to the social project Children's Shelter Foundation without deductions.
